*In an effort to promote the participation of students from range-countries, IPS has included, in the Registration page, the possibility for IPS members to donate a flexible amount of money to support the participation of a student.
To apply to the funds obtained from these donations, students should:
- Submit their early bird registration payment (no later than January 16th, 2020) and prepare and submit the abstract that they will present as a poster or oral presentation at the meeting.
- Be a citizen of a primate range country and conduct his/her/their research in a primate range country (the research does not necessarily have to be conducted in the country of origin).
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate program at a local institution of a primate range country.
- Write a brief essay describing why they want to attend this congress and how attending the congress will help them in their academic development as primatologists.
Applications should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Deadline for submitting applications: January 16th, 2020
For the selection process, applications will be evaluated by an ad hoc committee that includes scientists from primate range countries from all regions, and two representatives from non-range countries.
Awards will be announced in April and selected students will accept or reject the award by the end of May 2020.
Registration fees will be reimbursed to selected students on the first day of the congress.
